Looking Forward

It has been uneventful and quiet in the Turpin household. We have all been trying to settle more into our new home. We have decided it isn't likely that we will sell the house anytime soon. So we have been busy making curtains and hanging pictures. It is really starting to feel homey. Last Sunday Jared taught his first lesson in Elders Quorum. He was nervous but he did real well. Earlier that day Conner wanted to play with his friend Kaylie, who moved in next door. It was too close to church time so I told him "NO". But he was a little stinker and decided he didn't like my answer. While I wasn't looking he grabbed his coat, opened the garage door and out he went. I noticed the house was way too quite. I found him in the front playing with Kaylie. He was grounded from playing with her for the remainder of the day. You know what he said to me later..."Mom, you know what...I am smarter than you. I sneaked out and you didn't even know it." I couldn't help but laugh in my head. I proceeded to tell him "If you were really smarter than me, then you wouldn't have gotten caught." What a turkey.

I am looking forward to this coming weekend. We made plans to spend the weekend at the beach. While we are there we are going to take a look at the house we will be staying at in April for the Turpin Reunion. I can't wait. It will be so much fun. Details to follow. Cya soon.
