Summer Recap

It has been another Fun filled Summer and we are just winding down for the Fall Season. Conner is excited for school, which starts on Thursday, and Jared is ready for Hunting. We are still moving forward with adoption plans and hope to be done with our paper work by the end of the month, at least that is our goal. I have included some Summer recap pictures for all to enjoy. This is a family picture of us at Waite's Lake. We had lots of fun swimming, fishing and roasting marshmallows. Conner's favorite thing to do at the lake was catch turtles. We brought the net to the dock where the turtles were usually eating fish heads left behind from fisherman who gutted their fish. We would wait and when one of them would swim close Conner would scoop them up with the net. He always put them back but couldn't resist a closer look.

Conner caught this baby turtle the last morning we were at Waites Lake. Isn't he so cute. Conner wanted to take him home but we told him he would be sad without his mommy or daddy.

Conner wasn't sure about the water biscuiting so we told him we would go with if he went and so we all went on the inter tube as a family. It was lots of fun.



Daddy bought Conner a big boy fishing pole this year and Conner did a lot of the fishing himself. He was so excited when he reeled up his first fish all by himself.





Here is a picture of Conner at Cultus Lake in Central Oregon on the 4th of July. He was a dinosaur that day...can you tell.

It was pretty cold the weekend we were at Clear Lake. We all wore our coats and gloves because it was breezy too.
